
Mireille Toulekima is a senior Energy professional, Petroleum Engineer, and Women Empowerment advocate. She holds the esteemed position of Managing Director at the Perth Australia-based energy company MT Energy Resources Ltd. With a career that has touched four continents, Sarah has played pivotal roles in billion-dollar projects for multinational, international, and government companies across Australia, Africa, Asia, and Europe for over 25 years.
In 2018 and 2020, respectively, She founded STEM Queens in Uganda and Australia. Her objective was to sponsor African and Indigenous Australian girls and women, encouraging them to embrace STEM and increase women’s participation in STEM sectors. STEM Queens aims to empower at least one million women and girls in STEM by 2025.
An accomplished author, mireille has published three books, with “Local Content Key Enabler for Oil and Gas projects in Emerging Markets: Investing, Developing and Providing Oversight in Countries of Operation” being a reference book in universities and organizations across Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
She is also a dedicated contributor to international leadership and technical causes, Think Tank groups, and forums. She has graced several technical and leadership institutions and universities globally as a guest lecturer.

Her efforts in promoting entrepreneurship development and women empowerment across the globe have not gone unnoticed. She is devoted to mentoring and motivating young women to exceed and excel, bridging the gender gap, overcoming barriers, and breaking the metaphorical glass ceiling.
